About Imar Spaanjaars

I am an organised, creative and driven software developer and designer with strong problem-solving skills and experience in the most important areas of software development, including software architecture, functional and technical design, development, implementation, and deployment. I specialise in consultancy and development of database-driven intranet and internet application using Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET 4.

Besides being a software designer and developer, I am also a freelance writer. I have written five books under the Wrox “Programmer to Programmer” label. Recently I finished my latest book Beginning ASP.NET 4 in C# and VB which is available in stores since March 2010.

In 2008, 2009 and 2010 I received the Microsoft MVP Award in the ASP.NET category.
