I am a well-organized, driven and highly motivated software designer and developer with a passion for technology and problem solving. I have experience in the most important areas of software development including architecture, design, development, implementation, DevOps and cloud-hosting. I value the balance between pure code with a clean design on one side and deliverable software on the other. I focus on Microsoft ASP.NET Core web development in particular, and .NET and related technologies for web and Windows in general.

I am also a published author for Wrox and have published nine books including Beginning ASP.NET 4.5.1 in C# and VB and Dynamicweb eCommerce 8.

I have received the Microsoft ASP.NET / IIS MVP award each year from 2008 to 2015 and have been a Microsoft ASP Insider since 2012. In 2020 I received the Dynamicweb MVP Technology award and in 2022 the Dynamicweb MVP Master award for my contributions to the product and community over the years.
